A significant highlight was representing the CEESP Commission. During my presentation, I emphasized that Reimagine Conservation mobilizes the Union and beyond to transform our thinking, engagement, and practice to protect the planet and contributes directly to the 2021-2025 Programme and the 20-year vision of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥. I spoke about our activities and progress at both international and regional levels, as well as our current objectives, showcasing the critical role of youth in conservation efforts across Africa. It became clear that advancing our conservation goals requires the active involvement of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPs and LCs), women, and youth. The recurring theme of "Strong Together" emphasized the essential contribution of these groups to drive meaningful change.

Attending the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ regional meeting further enriched my experience. I engaged closely with the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ national and regional committees, NGOs, government representatives, and experts. This allowed me to share my perspectives and challenges, explore potential partnerships, and collaborate on addressing shared conservation goals. The direct interaction was invaluable for building connections and fostering cooperative efforts.
