World Heritage sites and young people at 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播

From 4 to 15 April 2011, 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Headquarters in Switzerland are hosting an exhibition on natural World Heritage sites and young people鈥檚 involvement in their conservation.

The exhibition presents beautiful photo galleries and comprehensive information about 24 natural World Heritage sites from all over the world, including the Great Barrier Reef, Mount Everest or the Gal谩pagos Islands. It also features young people aged 18-28, coming from these places, who present their messages on biodiversity conservation and natural heritage.

The exhibition was produced in the context of the Go4BioDiv International Youth Forum, held in parallel to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) summit which took place last October in Japan. It was organized by the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播, the German Development Cooperation agency (GIZ) and Tsukuba University, with the support of the CBD Secretariat.

Bringing together young people from all over the world, the Youth Forum explored creative ways of communicating biodiversity loss and the need to protect World Heritage sites. With their comics, videos, dance performances, a 鈥榯reasure box鈥 with natural and cultural objects from their sites and statements about the risks their sites are facing, the young participants gave voice to their concerns about their heritage and their aspirations to preserve it for future generations.
