One day Training Workshop on Nature Resource Management

The training called upon the 25 main stakeholders from Government relevant departments, civil societies and main stakeholders at community level.听 Training was conducted on Tuesday, 4th Oct, 2011,听 at Circuit House, Qilla Saifullah.

The Resource person Mr.Inam Ullah Khan NRM Expert and Project Manager 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Juniper Ziarat shared that Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resource Management activities seek to increase agricultural productivity through adoption of practices that maintain the long-term ecological and biological integrity of natural resources. He said that in this sub-sector cut across the rural, social, and environmental issues of natural resource management to sustain significant increases in farm productivity through the efficient use of land and other resources.

He also said that the issue of biodiversity conservation is regarded as an important element in natural resource management. Biodiversity is a comprehensive concept, which is a description of the extent of natural diversity.

Mr.Irfan Ali Bakhtiari coordinator Integrated Water resource Management delivered session on IWRM, he pointed out that IWRM is a systematic process for the sustainable development, allocation and monitoring of water resource use in the context of social, economic and environmental objectives. He also shared that IWRM is based on the understanding that water resources are an integral component of the ecosystem, a natural resource, and a social and economic good. The need for water is universal. It is present everywhere, and without water, life, as we know it, will simply cease to exist.

At the end of training Mr.Gohar Khan Jogezai District coordinator killa saifullah thanked the participants and distributed certificates among all participants.
