World Heritage Committee meeting to resume in October
The 40th session of the World Heritage Committee will continue from 24 to 26 October 2016 at UNESCO鈥檚 headquarters in Paris. The session, which took place in July in Istanbul, Turkey, was suspended three days ahead of the planned schedule on 17 July.

Outstanding issues will be discussed, including proposals for boundary modifications and revisions of the World Heritage Convention鈥檚 operational guidelines.
