Project name: Improving the performance of the Natura 2000 network through a Green Listing approach 鈥楪reen List for N2K鈥 (LIFE16 PRE BE 001)

Deadline: 7th May 2018

香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 invites stakeholders to provide feedback on the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Green List Adapted Indicators for Natura 2000 sites, as part of the 鈥楪reen List for N2K鈥 project.

The 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Green List Sustainability Standard is a new global standard for protected and conserved areas which aims to improve the contribution that equitably governed and effectively managed protected areas make to sustainable development through the conservation of nature and provision of associated social, economic, cultural, and spiritual values.

香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 is currently carrying out an Project 鈥 鈥Improving the performance of the Natura 2000 network through a Green Listing approach鈥 (LIFE16 PRE BE 001) - to determine the feasibility of the application of the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Green List Sustainability Standard to Natura 2000 sites in order to promote effective management and provide a benchmark of excellence.

The 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Green List Standard is organised into four components of successful nature conservation in protected and conserved areas. The baseline components concern Good Governance, Sound Design and Planning and Effective Management. Together, these support the component on Successful Conservation Outcomes attesting to the successful achievement of an area鈥檚 goals and objectives. Each component has a set of criteria and each criterion has a set of indicators to measure achievement.

As part of the LIFE project, the European Core Working Group has adapted Generic Indicators of the Green List Sustainability Standard to the context of Natura 2000 sites. These Adapted Indicators are designed to be applicable to all sites within the Natura 2000 network, recognising the diversity across sites and EU countries, while encouraging them to go above and beyond the requirements of the EU Nature Directives. All Indicators relate to the site level of Natura 2000.

香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 is now holding a consultation process, open to all stakeholders, to collect feedback and reach consensus on the final list of Natura 2000 Adapted Indicators. We therefore welcome your input on the suitability of these Indicators, and ask you to complete the survey below. For each Criterion of the Green List, the Adapted Indicators are listed, and we would like you to consider if they are appropriate and comprehensive for the Natura 2000 context. Your participation in the survey will help to understand the variety of approaches used in EU countries and they will therefore be taken into account when approving the final list of Adapted Indicators for Natura 2000 sites.
