WCEL Member Selected as Finalist for Prestigious Award in Environmental Law

Nicholas Bryner, WCEL Member and Chair of the WCEL Early Career Group, was recently selected as a finalist for publication in Land Use and Environmental Law Review, the definitive annual compilation of the most significant scholarly articles in environmental law.

Professor Nicholas Bryner is a member of the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 World Commission on Environmental Law and听 the Chair of the WCEL Early Career Group. Professor Bryner is currently an Assistant Professor of law at Louisiana State University School of Law. Professor Bryner has written several articles on environmental, energy, and natural resources law, including: 鈥淧eople of the Sun: Leveraging Electricity Reform to Promote Renewable Energy and Climate Change Mitigation in Mexico,鈥澨Natural Resources Journal听(forthcoming 2016); 鈥淧ublic Interests and Private Land: The Ecological Function of Property in Brazil,鈥澨Virginia Environmental Law Journal听(2016); and 鈥淏razil鈥檚 Green Court: Environmental Law in the Superior Tribunal de Justi莽a (High Court of Brazil),鈥澨Pace Environmental Law Review(2012). He has also co-edited the volumes on听Decision Making in Environmental Law听补苍诲听Environmental Compliance and Enforcement听in Edward Elgar鈥檚听Encyclopedia of Environmental Law听series. Professor Bryner has spoken at major conferences in the United States and Brazil, in Portuguese and English, on topics including Brazilian environmental law, environmental human rights, and international environmental law.
