Highlights of IPBES-9
��

The 9^th��session of the IPBES Plenary was convened from 3 to 10 July 2022 in Bonn, Germany. The session was for the first time in a hybrid format (in person and virtual). It was preceded by the IPBES Stakeholder Days and by regional consultations on 2 July 2022.

The 9^th��session of IPBES Plenary focused on the adoption of two assessments: the Sustainable used of wild species assessment and the diverse values and valuation of nature assessment, decided during the 6^th session of IPBES Plenary. The Plenary also considered for approval the scoping report for a methodological assessment of the impact and dependence of business on biodiversity and nature’s contributions to people, as well as interim work plans of IPBES task forces for the intersessional period 2022–2023.
