The International Union for Conservation of Nature (香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播) will issue an update to the at COP28, Dubai on Monday 11th December.

The update will draw attention to the impact of climate change on biodiversity, which is affecting a growing number of species across the world.

The press conference will highlight the change in status for a selection of species and will reveal the results of the first global freshwater fish assessment.

The assessment highlights and quantifies the impact of threats such as rising sea levels causing seawater to move up rivers, shifting seasons, pollution, invasive species, dams, overfishing and disease.

Press are invited to attend and hear from a panel of international species experts who will give their expert view on the significance of the update and what is signifies for global biodiversity rends.

The Red List is the world鈥檚 most comprehensive information source on the global extinction risk status of animal, fungus and plant species and a 鈥榖arometer of life鈥 that is indicator of the health of the world鈥檚 biodiversity.

The event is in-person but can also be watched via live stream聽
