From 10 to 16 December 2024, an 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 delegation participated in the 11th Plenary session of the Intergovernmental Science-policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES-11), In Windhoek, Namibia.
This 11th session of the IPBES Plenary focused on the adoption of the IPBES Thematic Assessment of the interlinkages among biodiversity, water, food and health, also called the Nexus assessment, as well as the thematic assessment of the underlying causes of biodiversity loss and the determinants of transformative change and options for achieving the 2050 Vision for Biodiversity, also called Transformative assessment. Stakeholder Day took place on 9 December, a day ahead of the Plenary. Building on the opportunity of having the first Plenary on the African continent as well as feedback from previous editions, participants enjoyed a full session on IPBES uptakes in Africa as well as an interactive session billed as a marketplace where participants had the opportunity to exchange and network between themselves and with a range of stakeholder networks.
