A Voice for Nature #18

We are announcing some exciting news!ÌýÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ ECARO is building a competent team to work on the ADAPT project (Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Resilient Societies in the Western Balkans). If interested in any of the three positions:Ìý,ÌýÌýandÌý, apply byÌý15 December.

Since the last issue, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ has issued an urgent call to massively scale up species conservation action. A newly published report showed that over half of Europe’s endemic trees faced extinction. We saw the launch of the regional partnership for Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan aiming to facilitate reporting on the achievement of Aichi Target 11 and witnessed the return of theÌý.ÌýBiodiversity Task Force of South East-Europe opened up for associated membership, and we have published theÌýsummary report of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Regional Conservation Forum for Europe, North and Central Asia, calling for urgent transformational change of our society.
