MISSION
The mission of the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 SSC African Elephant Specialist Group is to promote the long-term conservation of Africa's elephants throughout their range.
Specialist Group work
The focus of the Group, as stated earlier, is to find evidence-based workable solutions to country and regional problems in an open-minded atmosphere devoid of deliberate controversies. To meet this challenge, the AfESG has periodically produced African elephant status reports, provided technical expertise and advice by helping to facilitate the development of national, sub-regional and continental conservation strategies and management plans and through the publication of Pachyderm and the upkeep of the African Elephant Library.
The AfESG provides updates on the numbers and range of elephants through the African Elephant Database and provides tools and advice on managing human-elephant coexistence.
AfESG assesses the two elephants for the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Red List of Threatened Species to inform conservation efforts.
