Prof Claudio SILLERO-ZUBIRI
A conservation biologist, Claudio is a Professor of Conservation Biology at the Department of Biology, University of Oxford. Claudio is Deputy Director of the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), and Director of their Post Graduate Diploma in International Wildlife Conservation Practice. He is the Founder and Director of the Ethiopian Wolf Conservation Programme.

Geraldine Werhahn (Ph.D.) is a wildlife biologist and conservationist dedicated to every element of the natural world. Her special interest are carnivores and their function in maintaining healthy ecosystems, their intelligence, and complex social life. She completed her DPhil Thesis on the phylogeny, ecology and conservation of Himalayan wolves with WildCRU at the University of Oxford, UK. As a wildlife biologist she aims to provide solid science as an argument for conservation, and as a human animal she lives the love for nature by a compassionate way of life.

To compile, synthesize and disseminate information on the conservation and status of all canid species across their range, with particular emphasis on species which are threatened or rare.
Specialist Group work
The CSG focuses to promote the long-term conservation of all wild Canidae species throughout their ranges.
