Claire worked with the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Marine Biodiversity Unit based out of Old Dominion University (ODU) for several years starting as an undergraduate. After switching gears and working as a Water Quality Specialist for a regional agency, she returned to ODU and completed her MS. Her work focused on the extinction risk of species in the family Sciaenidae (croaker and drum) and impacts of the maw trade on this group of bony fishes. This family includes notable species such as the Totoaba and Chinese bahaba, both of which are threatened. Claire currently works as an Environmental Engineer for the Virginia Marine Resources Commission where she continues to pursue her commitment to conservation.
