I am a wildlife biologist and science writer. As Chair of the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 SSC Hyaena Specialist Group, I coordinate membership and all activities undertaken by the group. We are currently completing the Hyaena Distribution Mapping Project and updating the range maps for our four species, which has not been done since 1998. We are also using the data we collected for the range maps to create species distribution models and to conduct a comprehensive threats assessment.
The mission of the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 SSC Hyaena Specialist Group (HSG) is to contribute to and promote the understanding and conservation of the species in the family Hyaenidae: spotted hyaenas, striped hyaenas, brown hyaenas and aardwolves.
Specialist Group work
The HSG focuses on promoting the understanding and conservation of the species in the family Hyaenidae.
Research activities include developing online threats assessment survey and publish a range-wide occurrence study (action plan) for the four species of hyaena.
HSG assesses species for the 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 Red List of Threatened Species to inform conservation efforts.
