Science tells us where we are today, where we should be going, and how to get there. With political capital and bold partnerships, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ can bring actors from all sectors of society together and lead the transformational change we so desperately need.

At the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ World Conservation Congress in Marseille in 2021, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Programme was set over ten years, a time frame that allows us to better shape the world’s conservation agenda in a way that aligns with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Members voted to create a new Member category for subnational governments to drive effective local conservation. We look forward to welcoming cities, regions and other subnational governments to our Union of over 1,400 Member organisations.
