INC-3 Plastic Pollution Treaty
As part of the triple planetary crisis, pollution is one of the major drivers of biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation, and plastic pollution is detrimental to our terrestrial, freshwater and marine biodiversity and ecosystems, upon which livelihoods and economies depend.
Delegates to INC-3Â will discuss the Zero draft text of the international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment.Â
This brief offers Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥'s views for the second session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee for the development of an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment (INC-3), that will take place from 13 – 19 November 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya. Â
