Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ ORMACC at COP16 on Biological Diversity

At the Sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the Convention on Biological Diversity, which will take place in Cali, Colombia, from October 21 to November 1, 2024, governments, international organizations, and civil society will review the progress made in implementing the targets of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), renewing their commitment to the protection and restoration of ecosystems and species.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Regional Office for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ ORMACC), along with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Members and Commissions in the region, will organize a wide range of activities, presenting their contributions to the implementation of the GBF and highlighting the need to integrate rights and environmental justice into conservation policies and actions.
