First-ever biodiversity and ecosystem training for Ultratech Cements Ltd. in India

A key component of the engagement is to build understanding of biodiversity and ecosystem service related challenges amongst the Ultratech staff. As such, 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 organised a Businesses and Ecosystem Training (BET) workshop on January 13, 2017, at Sewagram, Ultratech Cement Ltd. in Kutch Gujarat, India.

Workshop sessions were designed based on the BET Module I: 'Understanding Business and Ecosystem linkages.' Key technical sessions included the basics of business and ecosystesm services, business and ecosystem service linkages, biodiversity and ecosystem services management and participatory exercises towards identifying priority ecosystem services for Sewargam Cement Works.
30 company staff from the departments of mine planning, environment, administration and CSR participated in the workshop. Dr Randal Glaholt, 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 expert consultant, and Mr. Vipul Sharma, Programme Officer, 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 India were the resource persons for the workshop.
