Ohrid Lake, North Macedonia
The听expert will coordinate a technical team in drafting and then holding consultations on a valorisation study for Lake Ohrid, and management plans for both Lake Ohrid and the Shar Mountains. He/she听will also work with a coordination team, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of North Macedonia, 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 and UNEP.
This project, implemented by 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播 and funded by UNEP, addresses components of the overarching GEF-funded project Achieving Biodiversity Conservation through Creation and Effective Management of Protected Areas and Mainstreaming Biodiversity into Land Use Planning, the aims of which include expanding and improving the sustainability of the protected areas system in North Macedonia. The assignment will begin as soon as possible and, it is anticipated, continue at least until the end of the year.
