International symposium on the impacts of and alternatives to systemic pesticides on biodiversity and ecosystems

On March 31, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ organised a symposium at the Yezin Agricultural University together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation (MOALI) and the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Task Force on Systemic Pesticides.Ìý

The symposium, which was opened by the MOALI Minister, was a step in implementing one of the Myanmar NBSAP 2015-2020 targets under Aichi Target 8: By 2020, the sale and use of pesticides with a significant negative impact on biodiversity and ecosystem services are effectively controlled and where appropriate banned.
