The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ World Heritage Outlook 3 was launched on 2 December 2020 and the webinar, held the following week on 8 December, celebrated this important milestone. The webinar facilitated questions and answers between the panellists and online participants.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ World Heritage Outlook is Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥â€™s independent assessment of natural World Heritage, updated every three years since 2014. The report for 2020 and updated Conservation Outlook Assessments for all natural World Heritage sites will be released on .Ìý

With three sets of data over a six-year period now available, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ World Heritage Outlook 3 provides an opportunity to identify evolving trends in the global status of natural World Heritage. It can serve as an indicator of the effectiveness of protected and conserved areas at a time when the international community seeks to measure progress towards global biodiversity targets and defines the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
