The benefits of farming to biodiversity are especially relevant in the Mediterranean, where landscapes have been shaped by agricultural and grazing practices for generations. Nowadays, several initiatives to enhance and protect biodiversity in agricultural landscapes are being put in place around the Mediterranean basin. TheÌýEuropean Union with itsÌý, which includes theÌýis leading the change to a more sustainable future for agricultural landscapes.
