This week WCEL will be launching the first in a series of webinars on the role of environmental law to address novel threats facing our planet. The first webinar in the series, "Using Environmental Law Tools to Address Global Pandemics", will take place this Friday, 24 April 2020, at 13:00 EST. The webinar will feature , Executive Director of Wildlife Health for the Wildlife Conservation Society. Dr. Walzer will introduce science of zoonosis and the Berlin Principles.��

Dr. Walzer will be joined by WCEL Chair Emeritus, from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Professor Robinson will be discussing .��

The panel will also feature WCEL Steering Committee Member, . Ms. Mrema is currently serving as the acting Executive Secretary of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity. She will be discussing the critical role of reducing biodiversity loss to sustain healthy ecosystems.��

The panel will be moderated by WCEL Deputy Chair, . Professor Antolini is the Former Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (2011-2019) at the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
