The framework partnership project supported by the Republic of Korea is an initiative for alignment between the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Standard and the new Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ OECMs methodology, to further develop an effective system of protected and conserved areas, including OECM, for the Republic of Korea, report verified ‘effectiveness’ and area contributions to the CBD, and share lessons and approaches with partner countries in Asia. One of the expected results is to develop and publish a guidance document for ‘effectiveness’ and OECMs that fully aligns the CBD Decision on OECMs, and describes the relationship to the Green List Standard and benchmarking to its components and criteria. For the realization of this mission, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ wishes to contract an international consultant. During the execution of the mission, the appointed consultant will work under the supervision of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥, which will provide expertise on all aspects related to the Green List Standard

The main objective of the consultancy is to provide guidance on the Green List process from the user's perspective. The first part prioritises the site managers who engage in a selfassessment of their protected and conserved areas against the Green List Standard. The goal is to develop an accessible logical framework that guides the site managers through the process of completing the Green List indicators. In order to do this, the consultant can rely on lesson learned from Green-listed sites, but also existing key documents of the Green List, as follows: the User Manual which specifies the procedural steps of an application and the role of the main stakeholders in the programme; the Standard which describes the 17 criteria and 50 generic indicators that site managers have to fill in; the Standard guidance which gives examples and references to fill in each criterion.

A short-term consultancy to develop this Competency Framework for the implementation of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Green List is offered. During the execution of the mission, the appointed consultant will work under the supervision of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥, and in coordination with other consultants in charge of developing capacity development materials and of optimizing the Green List process. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ will provide expertise on all aspects related to the Green List processes.

A short-term consultancy to develop capacity development materials, improved guidance and tools for the implementation of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Green List is offered. During the execution of the mission, the appointed consultant will work under the supervision of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥, and in coordination with another consultant in charge of developing a competence framework system for the Green List stakeholders. Coordination will also be established with the PANORAMA Solutions project manager and with existing Green List training providers. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ will provide expertise on all aspects related to the Green List Standard.

The consultant will be in charge of revamping the COMPASS platform and developing new features using built-in Salesforce tools, and the collaboration will involve consultation on an as-needed basis; including, but not limited to, providing additional technical expertise to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ staff, implementing ad-hoc requests, and answering questions which arise.
