Training materials

To support awareness raising and capacity building on OECMs, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ WCPA Specialist Group on OECMs and BfN’s International Academy for Nature Conservation have developed a set of training materials. The materials are intended to develop worldwide capacity for identifying, recognising, supporting and reporting OECMs.

The training materials are designed to be used for face-to-face or online training led by an instructor. The training material includes instructions, learning plans, detailed training notes, presentations and films as well as some background literature. All materials can be adapted to target groups, geographical context and training needs. Some materials are also open for self-paced distant learning.Ìý

Quick reference materials

With two self-animated presentations, self-paced distant learners gain an overview of OECMs and learn how OECMs are reported to the World Database on OECM. Watch them here:Ìý
