Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ ROWA 10th Regional Conservation Forum

The RCF aims to provide Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Members (governments, NGOs, indigenous peoples’ organizations) with a platform to engage with each other, discuss and debate key conservation issues, and prepare for effective program planning and membership business. It also serves as an opportunity to initiate discussions on regional participation in the next Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Congress 2025. Additionally, the RCF contributes to strengthening knowledge and networking for biodiversity conservation in the region. 

The forum uniquely prepares members for the Congress by discussing key deadlines, drafts of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Programme, and providing updates on the Motion process and the implementation of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Resolutions and Recommendations.

The 10th Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ ROWA Regional Conservation Forum (RCF) will take place from 9 to 11 September 2024 in Riyadh, hosted by the State of Saudi Arabia. This forum serves as a crucial platform for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹ûÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥ Members, including governments, NGOs, and indigenous peoples’ organizations, to discuss key conservation issues, plan programs, and address membership matters. It also aims to enhance knowledge sharing and networking for biodiversity conservation across the region.
