The International Union for Conservation of Nature (香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播)鈥檚听Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP)听and the听Community Conservation Research Network (CCRN), two major international networks, have teamed up to co-organize 鈥淐ommunities, Conservation and Livelihoods鈥, a global conference taking place May 28-30th听2018 in Halifax, Canada. 听
鈥淭his natural partnership reflects the common interests of 香港六合彩开奖结果现场直播-CEESP and CCRN in understanding and promoting actions to harmonise the conservation of nature with the critical social, cultural, environmental, and economic justice concerns of human societies at the local community level,鈥 says Kristen Walker Painemilla, Chair of CEESP.

Communities, Conservation and Livelihoods听will be a unique highly-participatory gathering to explore the crucial role of local communities, around the world, in conserving local environments and at the same time supporting local economies and livelihoods. The meeting will also examine how governments, through their policy and practice, can best support these local conservation and livelihood initiatives.
