Deputy Chair, Cathy Yitong Li has been following UNFCCC processes from gender and youth perspectives since she was a teenager, besides advising 6 UN agencies and various organisations on civil society engagement. By profession, Cathy is a sustainability consultant at Deloitte. Cathy has been supporting and collaborating with ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� on youth engagement in the past years. Within ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ��, Cathy is a SteerCo member of the Climate Crisis Commission and WCPA's Young Professionals Focal Point in Europe.

Dr Aby DRAME, Programme Coordinator at Enda Energie, member of Enda Tiers-Monde Network. Coordinator of the platform Agora30 for the resilience of Senegal since 2016. A multi- stakeholder platform wich aim to promote the synergy of initiatives for building resilience to climate extremes and other disasters.

She has the opportunity to coordinate projects on climate change, sustainable development biodiversity and renewable energy. She has more than twenty years work experience. Managed activities for better consideration of Indigenous / local Knowledge in African Climate Change workplan. She deals with access to sustainable energy services for rural and peri urban perspective of Endogenous Development less intensive in carbon. She used to give technical and financial support to entrepreneurs (supply side) and end users (demand side) through decentralized financial systems (SFD).

She was Knowledge Management Engagement Leader in Building Resilience Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) programme in Charge of two projects in Sénégal and Mali 2015-2018.- Decentralized Climate Funds (DCF)/BRACED, Near East Foundation, IED-Afrique, IIED. - Partnership to build flood resilience and improve the livelihoods, Consortium pour la Recherche Economique et Sociale (CRES). She coordinated the project promoting Endogenous Technologies for mitigation and adaptation. She coordinated the project Indigenous Knowledge Bank in C3D+ programme 2011- 2014.

Aby DRAME is author of many publications in adaptation mitigation on climate change in relations with communities’ livelihoods.

She documented around 60 indigenous best practices for adaptation and mitigation to climate change in West, Central and Est Africa.

She has been selected by the President of the UN General Assembly as speaker at the interactive dialogue “Protecting our planet and combatting climate change “during the UN Summit for the adoption of the Post 2015 Development Agenda. She is author of many publications on climate change and sustainable Development.

She was the chair of ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� National committee members of Senegal from 2011 to 2016. She was vice chair of ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� Regional committee members for West and central Africa (CREMACO) 2012- 2016.

Aby DRAME has a background in Environment, geography and diplomacy. She holds a PhD in Environmental science.

I previously represented Oceania to the ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� governing council from 2012-2016 and 2016-2021. I am a member of Te Ipukarea Society, the Cook Islands ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� member. I am currently working for the Cook Islands Government on the Green Climate Fund. We have been successful in securing funds under the Readiness Support Programme and Project Preparation Funding. I have worked on, both professionally and on a voluntary basis, species recovery, Protected Areas and biodiversity conservation. I am a qualified yoga instructor. My greatest achievements are those of my children.

Brendan Mackey is a professor at Griffith University, Queensland Australia and Director of its Climate Action Beacon. He has a PhD in ecology from The Australian National University. He was a Coordinating Lead Author in Working Group II of the IPCC 6th Assessment Report. Brendan has served two 4-year terms on the ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� Council where he co-chaired the Programme and Policy Committee, the working group on biodiversity offset policy and the policy on primary forest including intact forest landscapes. He also chaired the first Council's first working group on climate change. Brendan has authored over 300 academic publications in the fields of: climate change mitigation including ecosystem-based mitigation, the problem with offsets and decarbonization in the aviation sector; adaptation to climate risks including ecosystem-based and community-based approaches; and biodiversity conservation including threatened species and ecosystems, conservation planning, natural heritage assessment, and connectivity conservation. He was a member of the core drafting committee for the Earth Charter which was endorsed by the ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� and UNESCO as an ethical framework for sustainability.

Christopher is the Elizabeth N. Wilds Executive Director of Cornell Botanic Gardens of Cornell University and is Chair of the ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� National Committee for the USA. He is a botanist and conservation ecologist with an interest in the relationships between people and place and human impacts on the landscape. More recently, he has been studying the intersection of biological and cultural conservation. He has served on various boards, including the American Public Gardens Association (for which he served as President) and presently serves as Vice Chair of Terralingua, an international nonprofit organization concerned about the future of the world's biological, cultural and linguistic diversity and sits on the board of the ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ��-US. Christopher is active in several international conservation organizations, including Botanic Gardens Conservation International and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ��), and was instrumental in preparing the successful bid to host ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ��’s World Conservation Congress in Hawai´i, USA in 2016. Christopher holds faculty status at Cornell University and the University of Hawai'i.

I have more than 34 years of experience in the area of conservation and the environment. I last served as Associate Chief of the USDA, Forest Service in the USA and oversaw 193 million acres of the National Forest System lands, Research, State and Private Forestry, and International Programs in 60 countries. I also served as acting Deputy Under Secretary for USDA Natural Resource and Environment where I have led the Forest Service, Natural Resource Conservation Service, and Gulf Coast Restoration in the United States. I worked extensively on Forest Management, Climate Change, and working with indigenous communities, and on government-to-government consultations. I also oversaw programs for natural resource technical assistance in over 60 countries during my tenure as well as serving as an aide to a Member of the United States Congress. I served on the National Wildland Fire Leadership Council and the Advisory Council for Historic Preservation. Currently, I am on the CEESP as a Commissioner and involved with the emerging Climate Action Commission. I am a Spanish resident in Barcelona, Cataluyna, Spain.

Professor Sir David King is Emeritus Professor of Chemistry, University of Cambridge; Founder and Chair of the Centre for Climate Repair in the University; Chair of the Climate Crisis Advisory Group; an Affiliate Partner of SYSTEMIQ Limited; Senior Strategy Adviser to the President of Rwanda He served as Founding Director of the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University, 2008-2012, Head of the Department of Chemistry at Cambridge University, 1993-2000, and Master of Downing College Cambridge 1995 - 2000. He was the UK Government Chief Scientific Adviser, 2000-2007, the Foreign Secretary’s Special Representative on Climate Change, 2013-2017, and Chair of Future Cities Catapult, 2012-2016. He has travelled widely to persuade all countries to act on climate change. He initiated an in-depth risk analysis approach to climate change, working with the Governments of China and India in, and initiated a collaborative programme, now known as Mission Innovation, to create a £23bn pa research and development international exercise, which involved 22 countries and the EC, to deliver all technologies needed to complete the transition into a fossil-fuel-free world economy. Elected Fellow of the Royal Society in 1991; Foreign Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2002; knighted in 2003; made “Officier dans l’ordre national de la Légion d’honneur” in 2009. In Feb 2022 he was awarded the AAAS David and Betty Hamburg award for Science Diplomacy

Prof. Zhang is a field wildlife biologist and the Professor of Ecology at Beijing Normal University. He served as the Secretary General of Society for Entrepreneurs and Ecology (SEE) Foundation of China from 2016-2022. He also serves as the vice chairman of China Conservation Biology Society, the member of the board of directors and vice secretary general of China Zoological Society, the member of National Endangered Species Commission of China, the member of ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� Species Survival Committee -Asian Elephant Specialist Group, the member of technical advisory group of Monitoring of Illegal Killing of Elephant (MIKE) of the Washington Conversion (CITES), as well as the national coordinator on combating illegal wildlife trafficking and training expert of Asian Development Bank (ADB). He is also the handling editor of Conservation Biology. He has published over 100 research papers and correspondence on China’s environmental policies, ecosystem services and value assessment, endangered species conservation, wildlife management and trafficking in peer-reviewed journals including Nature, Science, Ecosystem Services, Conservation Letters, Biological Conservation, and Biodiversity and Conservation etc. Prof. Zhang is a well-known research scientist on China’s collective forest tenure reform policy, forest carbon, ecosystem services, eco-compensation policy, protected area legislation, wildlife protection law, community conservation agreement and international wildlife trade related policies. He was the China Country Director of the International Fund for Animal Welfare (2002-2006), the interim country director and program director of Conservation International China Program (2008-2013), and the national representative of Freeland Foundation/USAID Asia Regional Response to Endangered Species Trafficking (2013-2016). Prof. Zhang is also on the judge panel of Ford Motor Environment and Conservation Grant and working on grant-making to support China grass root environmental NGOs’ capacity building since 2002.

I completed my B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Natural Resources Management –Forestry and Forest ecology in Iran, and have a Ph.D. in Environmental Science –Agroforestry field, from Pune University, India. I am currently the Managing Director of a national NGO, the Center for Conservation and Development of Sustainable Ecosystems (ZIPAK), working project-based as Senior Research Associate/ Project Manager in Ecosystem-based Natural Resource/ Protected Area Management and as a facilitator. I am also member of the regional ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� Expert Assessment group for the Green List (EAGL), member of the ������ϲʿ�������ֳ�ֱ�� Reginal Committee, member of CEPA/International committees at CBD Iran, as well as being appointed as senior fellow in the Global Alliance of Evergreening. I have fieldwork and research experience in sustainable/community-based natural resources/protected areas management, GIS and participatory planning, sustainable livelihoods and bio-cultural diversity conservation. I have worked with CSOs (NGOs, CBOs, Cooperatives, Startups, etc.), natural resources departments in academic environments and relevant governmental organizations as well as UN agencies including UNDP, FAO and UNESCO and Environmental Conventions of CBD, UNCCD and UNFCCC. Accordingly, I am familiar with SDGs and Environmental laws and legislations. I also worked part-time and voluntarily with the Forest, Rangeland and Watershed Organization (FRWO), as the Consultant for Forest Reserves, as well as DoE, Habitats and Protected Areas Office, as the Consultant for Biosphere Reserves & Peace Parks, when I managed the successful nomination of 13th Biosphere Reserve of Iran called Kopet-Dag.

Oceanographer by training, I have been involved for 12 years in research projects on the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems. I parallel, education and outreach have always been central to my concerns. I have given several seminars for students and the general public and led various educational workshops. Wishing to get more involved in the relation between science and society, I joined in 2020 a centre of excellence for Citizen Science of the French National Museum of Natural History as coordinator of programs.

Scott Fulton is President Emeritus and International Envoy for the Environment Law Institute (ELI), a leading non-nonprofit focused on building effective governance systems and rule of law in the environmental arena. From 2015-22, he served as ELI’s President. Fulton spent over thirty years in United States government service between the Department of Justice, where he handled and oversaw major environmental prosecutions, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he served in a broad array of senior leadership positions, including chief operating officer, top lawyer, senior-most diplomat, head of enforcement, and Environmental Appeals Board Judge, leaving a lasting imprint on EPA’s organizational design and policy architecture. During his nine years as an appeals judge, Fulton became deeply involved in the United Nations Environment Program’s Global Judges Programme, working with UNEP to build the capacity of judges around the world for environmental casework, work in which Fulton has remained involved through collaboration with UNEP, the Global Judicial Institute on the Environment, and others.

Sunita Chaudhary is an Ecosystem Services Specialist at International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), Kathmandu, Nepal. She is also a member of the National Council of Environmental Protection and Climate Change Management, Prime Minister’s Office, Government of Nepal. At ICIMOD, she is responsible for research, policy inputs, capacity building and advocacy of evidence-based policy for sustainable development. Sunita is an established forester with more than a decade experience on natural resources management in Australia, Austria, Cambodia and Hindu Kush Himalaya.

Based in Vienna, I am currently Director of Advocacy at the International Press Institute, a global network of editors, media executives and journalists. Over the past 15 years, I have held senior management positions in international and non-governmental organizations in several countries. I have developed and implemented strategies for communications, advocacy, campaigning, knowledge management and resource mobilization at Oxfam GB, Oxfam Novib, ActionAid, UNICEF, International Centre for Agriculture Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA), and Child Helpline International (CHI). During my long years as an international journalist, I reported for major media organizations like the BBC, Deutsche Welle, Radio France International, The Christian Science Monitor, The Times of India, and The Statesman newspaper of India.

Together with our crops, livestock, and pets, we humans dominate the planet, and threaten the existence of many other species. I study primates — particularly chimpanzees at Gombe National Park, Tanzania — both to understand why the traits that make us successful evolved, and to promote primate conservation. Much of my work has explored how we resemble chimpanzees in our patterns of intergroup aggression. To understand how and why we differ from chimpanzees, I have expanded my research program to include vocal communication, personality studies, stable isotope ecology, computer simulations, and studies of other primates, including olive baboons, gelada monkeys, and bonobos.
